Ad hoc workflows stages label disappearing

I am using licence version of Ad hoc workflow plugin 3.2.7 for confluence 4.2.11 (installed in our development environment).

The issue is, every time confluence services are stopped and started; the workflow 'stage label' on the page disappears from the existing pages and for new pages the stages does not appear. Mark-up templates are all intact but somehow the stage label (ex. Draft , Published) does not seem to appear.

I have to uninstall and install Ad hoc workflows plugin and then the stages start appearing again.

Very shortly, I've to get this implemented in production for our policy management Documentation. Could someone please advise of a possible solution for this.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Lizy,

Can you please follow up with us by sending an email to support@comalatech.com. Can you also include a couple days worth of data from the "atlassian-confluence.log" file around the time when you restart confluence?

Also let us know if you have the Adaptavist PLM plugin installed as we recently debugged an issue with Atlassian Support about that causing a similar issue.

Thanks,
Miguel

For the benefit of anyone else who comes across thiss issue, the problem was that they also had Customware's Page Approval Plugin installed which overrides the default Confluence view in the same way as Ad hoc Workflows. The issue was solved by uninstalling the Page Approval Plugin.

Basically what was happening is that Confluence loads the Page Approval Plugin after Ad hoc Workflows when Confluence starts up, replacing Ad hoc Workflows view override with its own, thus hiding Ad hoc Workflows elements. So when Ad hoc Workflows was reinstalled, its view override was once again active until the next Confluence restart.

Thanks,
Miguel
