Just got my Confluence site ruined by add-on Template Ops

bauerprocessconsulting June 14, 2018

After installing the add-on, when trying to open configuration pages, add-on administration or content tools, i get: Error occurred during template rendering: Invocation of method 'getConfluenceResourceTags' in class com.atlassian.confluence.setup.velocity.VelocityFriendlyPageBuilderService threw exception java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class com.atlassian.upm.osgi.impl.Versions at /decorators/includes/header.vm[line 88, column 24]. Contact your administrator for assistance.

Not wearing my "happy-face" at the moment!

Monitoring this forum is actually quite hard for vendors, your best route is to submit a support ticket direct to Deiser at https://jira.deiser.com/support.

Hello David.

Thanks for feed-back.

I did submit a ticket to Deiser, but no reply.

Meanwhile I have solved the issue by deleting the add-on from the database.

Kind regards,

Søren

Hello @bauerprocessconsulting,

I'm Fede from DEISER. We are really sorry for any inconvenience this might have brought up.

Now the issue, Template Ops is not supported as is a free app.

Unfortunately, this app only supports Confluence's versions from 5.2 until 5.10.9. You can see that on the Atlassian Marketplace. Please, keep in mind that there is also documentation where this is explained.

Again, we are really sorry for any kind of inconvenience.

Thank you very much.

Fede.
