search bar which fills up the end of a URL and opens a new tab

I have created a form using this link:

It does work but somehow even when check the corresponding checkbox it does not open in a new tab/window. Any ideas why this does not work?

Hey Alex I download the external link macro from the marketplace and if I introduce a normal hyperlink it opens a new tab.

There is a difference in these links - one is an HTML link with target set to "_blank", while in ConfiForms you have a script that attempts to open you a link you configure.

The script might be blocked by a popup blocker in the browser.

Is this the case with your setup?
