how to verify jira user in my atlassian-connect plugin?

hello ,I am new to jira plugin devlopment.

I want to verify the jira user in my server (Is the request is from a valid user.)

How can I verify the user in my server.

Does jira provide the access token for user ,if yes then How to get that and how to verify it from jira server.

or is there any other method to validate the jira user on my server.
