getting rid of the FD- numbers

hi there!

I'm trying to create an epic for a project I'm working on and I was wondering if there was any way to remove the FD- numbers before the titles of the Epics and works in progress?  the numbers distract me and don't really help me with my organization since I've deleted some stuff and added others the numbers don't line up.

Are you talking about the Issue keys?  Basically, any time you create an issue (Epic, Story, Task, etc), Jira gives it an ID or key.  FD is an abbreviation of the project title, the number is the next available ID number.

No, you can't delete those.
