forms for confluence adaptavist create jira issue with custom text field validate it has data

I'm creating a jira service desk ticket from Forms for Confluence using ScriptRunner to populate the fields.  I have the script running but want to validate the form field contains information, otherwise not include that field in the description of the jira service desk ticket

@Sean_Brooks - hi Sean! On your form in Confluence, edit the field macro so it's required, to ensure someone inputs data. Does that help? If not, what kind of additional validation are/were you trying to do?
