creating linked issues based on number field in epic

for one of our business cases i need to create issues in an epic based on a number field in the epic itself.

for example epic field "issues in epic" = 2 ==> 2 issues linked to this epic are created. Or if "issues in epic" = 2 and there is already one issue in this epic, only one issue is additionally created

I could not create an automation for this case, but i think its possible via the "advanced compare condition" and smartvalues - but i don't have a resolution yet.

maybe some community member was facing the same problem and can help me out :)

Hi Michael,

I don't actually know if it's possible with Automation rules. But if it turns out it isn't, you can try JMWE's Create Issue(s) post-function that can totally do that.
