I have Jira installed with 9.4.11 Version and currently X-ray app is with 7.2.2-j9 and want update X-ray from 7.2.2-j9 to 7.4.1-j9 which is freely available.
So I can update directly from 7.2.2-j9 to 7.4.1-j9

That shouldn't be a problem but you might want to review the Release Notes for those versions to determine if there are any pertinent upgrade notes.

You could try it, but the version you want to upgrade to is only compatible with Jira 9.0.0+.
