bulk update changed Assignee to unassigned

Hi,
During the migration of thousands issues from issue type Problem to Defect, the values in the field Assignee were replaced from the real user to "Unassigned". Migration was done with the help of bulk edit.
Could you please advise if there is a way to revert back such change and to fill in corresponding users' names?

We have ScriptRunner installed. Maybe it can be used in such a situation?

That's quite important for number of projects.

Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Nataliia Positko

Looks like the ScriptRunner class ChangeHistoryManager may be of use to you.
