bamboo-variable-inject-plugin error on remote agent

Jonah Lund Jun 21, 2012

This plugin works exactly as I would expect for plans running on the Default Agent.

For plans running on remote agents, I get the following error:

Failed to execute the build 'MC-TST-VAR-108'

I have confirmed the file the plugin accesses is correctly named and located on the remote agent.

Tried reinstalling the plugin with the exact same results.

Tried creating a new plan on a remote agent with the same results.

Version 1.0.2 in the Marketplace now adds support for remote agents. Sorry for the headache!

I've raised https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-12241 to have the Bamboo team look at fixing this.
