Zoho CRM: No data found.

We have added the app Zoho CRM for Jira Service Desk, we authorized the user but Jira does not display the data as intended.

We reached out to Zoho support, they say:

We understand your concern regarding this extension. Since this issue is worked on by the Jira team. The only way to get an update is to reach out to them. Kindly contact Jira Support regarding this and they might have an update regarding this.

Zoho CRM for Jira Service Desk

Version: 1.1.3-AC
Support: Supported by vendor
App key: com.zoho.extensions.jira
How can we get to the data? What is wrong that the Zoho CRM can not display the date?
Your help is much appreciated!

Hi Denise,

Unfortunately, Atlassian does not provide support for this app.  I understand that this app provides some kind of integration between Jira and Zoho.  But I have no experience with Zoho here.  I would try first to make sure that this app in Jira is configured properly per Zoho's instructions over in https://workdrive.zohoexternal.com/writer/open/ai1zwb51b7b28505741439be502debfbed65c

If that does not help, then it could be that there is yet an undocumented limitation of the Free plan in Jira Cloud.  We have tried to document the known apps that do not work correctly with the Free plan over in What is the Free Jira Cloud plan?

One other thing you can try is to evaluate a standard support plan in Jira Cloud.  This has two possible benefits:

  1. If the problem is that this app does not work because of a Free plan limitation, this evaluation would temporarily put the site out of that free plan and remove such restrictions.
  2. It would also open you up to be able to create a support case per our support offerings if the problem is caused by Jira or a configuration in Jira, but again, please note that Atlassian does not provide 3rd party support for 3rd party apps like this.
