Hello -
We've noticed that in Zephyr for JIRA server, the Test Details section will require you to scroll within the Test Details section, when many test steps are added. In Zephyr for JIRA Cloud however, we noticed that when many test steps are added, a scroll bar within the Test Details section is NOT added and instead all test steps are displayed.
With that said, can the Test Details section within Zephyr for JIRA Server be expanded so that all steps are displayed instead of adding a scroll bar?
Thank you!
Nikki
We are seeing this as well with the latest update. It is a huge inconvenience to have to use a limited space to navigate tests that can be hundreds of steps long.
Our support team reach out to Zephyr about this and we received this response:

Hi Team,
Thanks for reaching out Zephyr Support.
Yes, this was implemented in order to keep the test steps area stick to the page. If you have more steps they will not allow you to see the other sections below Test Details until you scroll down the test steps. TO facilitate this the scroll bar was implemented. Now you can scroll through the steps within the area.
This was a feature and there won't be any revert back. Let us know what is the issue you are facing with the scroll bar.

Zephyr, please reconsider this as a feature. It is a step backwards in terms of usability. The problem you are trying to solve is much, much less aggravating than the solution you have implemented.
We have the same issue here since we updated to the latest version. Adding, editing and reading teststeps is really tedious now!
@ Zephyr: There should at least be an option, to show all teststeps without having to scroll within the testdetail section.

Is there any way to make the Test Step, Data and Expected Results boxes wider or hide the right side of information? I just started using this and for the most important and sometimes lengthy parts of a test case, it doesn't seem right that these boxes are so small and hard to read once the text has been entered. I'm wondering if we have it set up incorrectly. The right side shows Assignee, Reporter, Dates, etc. It seems that could be hidden or moved up so the Test Details section spans the entire width of the page.
Please advise. Thanks!
