ZAPI authentication

Morten Emmanuel Schioeler August 7, 2018

I am trying to access the ZAPI using an API token. I can't get it work.

I can authenticate with an X-acpt header value like this:

curl https://prod-play.zephyr4jiracloud.com/connect/public/rest/api/1.0/serverinfo -H 'X-acpt: c9c714d10f26d625cf2ccf2cc15c55af1cc0ea93f6919b6e704a1d64cec879db259bafef703cfff632b2a138780e06901973dde23d41712096c3d459909d3b9d8abe6cf1b3a0774c162c038d7b8d23ef9616a997d22711d56cda361b35802deaa34297b7604a34b975fe7874c7522a4ca7e6434218f44bf4d224aa3bcd949760'

which gives me the server information in JSON format.  I just took that token from the browser after logging in, though (note that the value pasted here has been scrambled), and it expires.

I have created a API token as described here, but when running (XXXXXX is my access token)

curl -v https://mysite.atlassian.net --user mschioeler@deloitte.dk:XXXXXXXX

I get: "Unauthorised: It appears your session has expired. Please reload the page."

My organization uses single-signon. I have seen the docs stating that I should use JWT, but I can't get that to work at all.

Can anyone explain what I'm doing wrong?
