Xray JUnit XML Import Execution Results - issues with "revision" field

I upload my XML with a POST request to this URL:

https://xray.cloud.getxray.app/api/v2/import/execution/junit?projectKey=RFE&testEnvironments=qa&testPlanKey=RFE-141&revision=1.2.3

The upload works (i.e., I can see the test execution and the tests) but the "revision" field is empty.

Here's the official documentation:

https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAYCLOUD/Import+Execution+Results+-+REST+v2#ImportExecutionResultsRESTv2-JUnitXMLresults

Thanks,
Yoto

Hi @Yoto Yogo

As your call looks correct according to the documentation and (unfortunately) I can´t verify in my system I could only give some trial and error suggestions:

did you try the following options:

  • adding a letter (like the "v" in the documentation so it´s alpha-numeric)
  • putting the revision in ""

If none of these works and your call looks completely like the one from the documentation I would suggest to reach out to vendor´s support directly. In this case it looks like a bug (imho).

Best
Stefan

hmf...what a pitty....

Thanks for the feedback 🙌🏼 You‘re welcome.

Would be great if you could share the vendor‘s andwer here too for the community.

Best
Stefan
