Why using Scroll Viewport shows all updates publicly?

I believe my question is a kind of basic, but still...

I am using Scroll Viewport with anonymous access only to the Scroll Viewport Content. I've just found out that using

<host_name>/#all-updates

gives the lists of resent updates, page inline comments, etc., that can be seen by everyone, whether they are logged in to the Confluence or access it anonymously.

How can I prevent this?

For example, Atlassian documentation that is stated to be Powered by Confluence and Scroll Viewport does not allow to see the information stated above.

Hi @Maria Petkova

Set Viewing Permissions

Use Confluence and viewport permissions to display spaces as sites. You can define which internal users and groups can view and modify each space and set whether spaces are publicly available.

Scroll Viewport uses Confluence space permissions to determine who can see what.

  • When a user is logged in, they can only access viewports for spaces they have permission to access.
  • If you enable a space to be publicly accessible to anonymous users—those not logged in—they'll also be able to access the viewport for the space.

Learn more about space permissions.

Hope this one solves your issue and there is anything open kindly let me know !!

happy to assist further !!

Thank you very much and have a fantastic day!
Warm regards
