Where is the Zephyr data stored after migrating from Jira Server to Jira Cloud? Does it reside within Jira Cloud or the SmartBear database? How can we guarantee complete control over the Zephyr data following the migration?
It's best to look at the vendor's documentation for this - I'd check these pages here: https://support.smartbear.com/zephyr-scale-cloud/docs/security-and-reliability/index.html
The "Data Security" and "Data Privacy" sub-pages detail some of this information.
Otherwise, I'd contact Smartbear for more assistance - their contact details are on this page: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/vendors/17834/smartbear

Hi @Sanjana Kumari,
It's not an answer, but for information, SmartBear has its own community forum that you might find useful for these types of questions. Sometimes staff from SmartBear also pitch in with answers as well. In this case, I don't think you will get better advice than that above from @Ste Wright, unless you contact SmartBear directly, but you will probably get some good information about migration type questions if you do switch from Server to Cloud.

Hi Sanjana,
I can understand your concern for data security and privacy, and one thing is common among all app vendors that the app data will be stored on their servers. Nonetheless, you can check the relevant compliant certification, and I recommend QTM4J - QMetry Test Management for Jira, which is ISO 27001 Certified and SOC 2 Compliant, and follows all the standard practices which are necessary for multi-tenant systems. Furthermore, it is more economical and has more features than Zephyr and is the BEST VALUE TEST MANAGEMENT APP in the Atlassian ecosystem.

Brijesh Patel.
