What's the easiest way to include Resolution = Resolved + Resolved (timestamp) on "Cancelled" issues?

Hi @James Morris ,

if you have a transition in your workflow that transition your issues to Cancelled status, please add a post function "Update Issue Field" and select Resolution field and Resolved as field value.

Resolved timestamp should be automatically populated.

Hope this helps,

Fabio

We've kept the transitions open from all status' to keep it simple - will this cause any problem with setting up the post function - if so is there an alternative approach?

Hi @James Morris ,

if it is a general transition from all statuses to "Cancelled" status, Resolution will be automatically setup independently from the original status.

you're welcome @James Morris
