What’s new this month in The Hub, by Appfire [May 2022]

It’s been just over a month since we launched The Hub, by Appfire.

The Hub is your ultimate destination for tips and tricks, how-to’s, original shows, product guides, curated content from the Atlassian ecosystem, including content from solution partners, Atlassian, industry experts, and more. If you’ve had the chance to poke around a bit, you’ve seen that we’re adding resources all the time.

Appfire Presents the BEST Shows

We came up with a whole suite of shows for you based on your professional interests. There’s a show out there (or information at least) for whatever you might need, and we’re adding more episodes as quickly as we can. 

For instance, if you’re in ITSM, check out the new show Appfire Presents: The BEST ITSM Show by Appfire. Every 10-minute episode features expert insights on IT service delivery. 

If project management’s more your thing, check out the new episodes of Appfire Presents: The BEST Project Portfolio Management Show by Appfire. You’ll love the episode on how to incorporate risk into your project plan! (I had never even heard of “opportunity risk” before!)

Articles, How-Tos, and Video Tutorials

Software developers, there’s a new how-to on User Story Mapping that gives you a detailed look creating user story maps as a team (even if you work remotely). 

Need to build a project plan page in Confluence? We’ve got a new video that shows you how to do it using the Confluence Cloud Editor. It includes Templates, Layouts, Tables, Tagging users, Macros, Apps, Keyboard shortcuts…everything you need! 

And speaking of awesome videos, there’s a new one on how to perform change management tasks in Jira using CMJ. Kelsey Lemastres shows you how to move changes through test and staging environments before deploying them. (Always a good idea!)  

Master Classes

For programmers and administrators, we’re working on a new Master Class with subject matter expert Michael Kuhl that will show you the ins and outs of Atlassian Command Line Interface. In the meantime, if you want to level up your skills, check out the Power Scripts Master Class that’s already available in The Hub.
