What is the correct JSON code to pass a smart multi select field to Labels?

Hi,

I have a form that is passing a smart multi select field from Confiforms to the Labels field in Jira. I'm trying to use the code:

"labels" : [ [entry.FieldName.transform(ColumnName).asArrayOfKVPairs(name)] ]

but it is giving me an error message saying Labels must be a String. If I try to add quotes, I get an error message saying there is an invalid character in the line.

I'm sure it's something simple that I'm missing, but any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi

According to Atlassian Jira documentation the labels field expects an array of strings. Something like this

"labels":["label1","label2"]

What you attempt to post is something like this

"labels":[{"name":"label1"},{"name":"label2"}]

See the asArray function, this is what you need to do

"labels" : [ [entry.FieldName.transform(ColumnName).asArray] ]

Alex

Knew it was something simple.

As always, Thank You.
