If we end our Cloud Gliffy license, what happens to the diagrams that we've created so far?
Do they switch to a read-only state? Do we lose the data?
Thanks!
Thanks Samie,
What happens to the diagrams if I reactivate Gliffy after it expires? do the images revert back to being .gliffy diagrams?
If you were to uninstall Gliffy, you would get an "unknown macro error" in the spot on your Confluence page where the diagram was embedded.
If you edit the page and remove that macro, then later resubscribe to Gliffy, the diagram would no longer be embedded on the page. If you leave the "unknown macro error" spot on the page and then resubscribe later, you would be able to see + edit the diagram again as normal.
Separate from what's visible within your page's content, both the .gliffy file and the image file would remain in your page's attachments.
So, if you removed the macro from the page and then decided months later to come back to Gliffy, you could re-embed the diagram on the page using the attachment. Does that make sense?

Hey @Marco Munari OverIT !
I'm a member of the Gliffy team, and we'd hate to see you go. Please feel free to email sales@gliffy.com — let them know I sent you! — and let's see what we can do to retain your business.
That aside, the answer is that your diagrams are stored as both .gliffy and standard image formats on your Confluence page. You'll need Gliffy installed to see the Gliffy diagrams embedded on your page, but without a license you can still always access the image version of your attachments. Without Gliffy, you won't be able to make any edits to these diagrams.
I hope that helps and I'm open to any feedback you have about Gliffy!
Samie

Hi @Samie Kaufman - Your Gal at Gliffy
Is there any way to export all .gliffy from an istance?
Thank you!
