Hi
I've recently started to see among the timesheet entries of some of our teams this
View worklog permission missing - Learn more" |
When I click on learn more it sends me here https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO0711/Permissions+to+View+Worklogs - but we have not changed any permissions since a very long time. Is this something to do with latest updates?
Hi Jo,
in Tempo Timesheets 7.9 we introduced the "Tempo Project Manager" role. This role replaces the "Project role to view other users" that was in the Tempo Global Configuration in earlier versions.
To view the worklogs of other users, you need to be in this role for the Project users have logged work on. Please take a look at https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO0711/Tempo+Project+Managers+Role for and https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TT/Tempo+Timesheets+7.11+Release+Notes for more information.
Regards,
Susanne
Hi is there a reason why I am unable to view the links above? Confluences states I do not have access with my account.

I should also add that the users see their timesheet as normal, but the admin account sees this error in random timesheet entries. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Jo,
You are right, this is part of Timesheets 7.11. As you can see from 7.11 Release notes we did some work to Inform users about why they can't view or edit worklogs.
Notice this is not an error message. We are simply informing users where it makes sense that they are not able to see all worklogs. In order to allow users to better understand that some data might not be available to them and what needs to happen in order to be able to see the data.
Does this answer your question "Any advice would be much appreciated"?
All the best
