Using Insight and Automation

Hi, I have an object that is stored in Insight. When the Insight object QR code is scanned with a smartphone camera what I'd like to happen is an automation run that creates an issue with a specific request type with the insight object. 

 Sound possible?

I am thinking of a jira webhook that will trigger an automation rule that in turn will create an issue with custom field of Insight type.

All you need is to find an app on the market that will be able to make a POST request using data in QR code.
