Update JSD ticket when there is a new comment or transition in JIRA Software project

hi everyone,

I would like to find out to set up the automation: for the following activities :

1. Whenever an issue transited to another status in JIRA software project, trigger an action to update the same ticket in JSD.

2.Whenever an issue receives a new comment in JIRA software project, trigger an action to update the same in JSD,

Hi @Houston Yap Chun Leong

I believe you will need two rules for this, with that said one of the ways to ensure that you're not just transitioning any issues, the issues that are reciprocal has to be linked through the Issue linking feature of Jira. Then you can use the below Automation and specifying the project where to capture the trigger and the project where to output the action.

The above example is what is likely needed. for the comment part it involves the same similar structure, however you will need to look into Smart values for comment trigger in order to copy the comment from one issue into another. This should be placed as an action in the branch block. Hope this gives you an idea on how to go about it.
