Universal Importer for Confluence hangs on import

I installed the "Universal Importer for Confluence" on my Confluence server.

 

When I try to import any file, the importer gets stuck on a blank screen that says "Progress 0/1".

Nothing happens for minutes so I closed the screen. I tried with markdown, text files and Word documents.

I see this error in the JavaScript console:

[Error] Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error) (create, line 0)

A web handler threw an exception. Details:
Couldn't get username from the application

I am logged in using Okta.

Any ideas?

That plugin is not maintained. We have built a replacement add-on: All-in-one File Importer for Confluence It supports all the file formats that Universal Importer supported.
