Unable to login to Jira from Greenshot

Edited

I'm using the latest version of Greenshot v1.2.9.129 and have the jira plugin installed. I'm using Atlassian's cloud version of Jira.

When attempting to save an image from Greenshot to Jira I am asked for login credentials. After entering them I'm told they're incorrect. I've configured the Jira plugin on Greenshot to use https://company.atlassian.net as the URL (company = my company's Jira site name).

Do you have any ideas about what I'm missing? Thanks in advance for your help.

Same here. Any solution?

I'm not sure if this will work for everyone but I fixed it by doing as follows:

  1. Open GreenShot Preferences.
  2. Go to the Plugins tab
  3. Select the Jira Plugin and press Configure.
  4. Delete the URL and press OK and OK to save all the changes.
  5. Close all your GreenShot windows.
  6. Open Preferences again and add the URL back in and save it all again.

After that, when I attempted another Upload to JIRA, I was asked for the login credentials (only once) and this time it accepted them and let me continue on.

I hope this works for others :)

Unfortunately this did not work for me.

hello Donna,

did you use your Jira credentials at last step ?
not worked for me with local admin account.

Regards.

Hi Mete,

Yes, I put my JIRA credentials in the same way I would when I sign in to JIRA.

I hope it works for you. It seems it's not working for everyone.

which version Jira and greenshot are you use ?

Same problem here!

I had the same problem, did anyone find a fix?

Same problem for me too.  Although I am working on Jira Server.
