Trigger when issue added to sprint

I need to check that an issue has been assigned a version when a user tries to add it to a sprint.

Is there a trigger in automation for jira that fires when an issue is added to a sprint?

Hi @carmichael

Yes, this is possible by using Jira Automation-rules, wherein you can create a rule and then set a trigger for the rule with the action that needs to be performed.
