Trigger JIRA workflow using SVN

Hi,

I have JIRA v7.3.2 and I have JIRA Subversion add-on installed. I want JIRA workflow to be triggered when SVN branch is created. But SVN is not coming as trigger sources in JIRA while adding trigger.

Could you please tell me whether we can add svn as trigger sources in jira or only atlassian development tools can transition workflow. 

If, svn can not be added as trigger sources, can this be achieved by some other way ??

Hi Isha,

I do not believe that this plugin will allow Jira to create a workflow trigger based on this data.   However this should be something that you can do if you were using Fisheye.  This supported Atlassian application has built in workflow triggers for Jira. 

Perhaps this is an alternative that could be used instead.
