'Time in Status' report question

I've posted a question to SaasJet about assignee filtering and filtering as a whole in their product but figured I'd ask here as well to cover all of my bases.

Within the application is there any way to add additional filtering other than what is available with the menu bar? The report that I am generating is returning assignees who I am not interested in and Issue Types that I'm not interested in.

I know that I can export the report into Excel and massage my data there but that seems to be an unnecessary step when something like adding more filtering to the report is a basic feature.
