Test management app

Hi community

I'm looking for a Test management app for my client.

Xray is not fit for them b/c of its price. I need a good one, with a lower monthly price...
Any recommendations?

• Requirements & Test Management for Jira might also be an alternative.

I think it's a good idea to consider other alternatives as they may have features which suit a particular customer's use case or environment.  Please provide a few details on the criteria important to the client for the Test Management plugin.

For example AssertThat BDD plugin  is designed specifically for customers who use BDD.  Key benefit of this tool over alternatives is that rather than having separate tickets for each test, test execution, test plan with a AssertThat that you can see all the details on one page ie

Our team loves using it, it supports exploratory testing, full-featured test case management, recording live test runs, custom dashboard for our project manager. I think it's quite convenient since its integrated with AI for test cases and test steps generation. Their reports feature is quite nice too since it tracks all linked issues and defects for tests manage. Plus it's free to use so why not?

Hi there!

Have you considered using a dedicated test management tool with rich Jira integration  instead? The advantage of a dedicated test management tool (other than more features/faster UIs optimized for testing) is that you are not bound to Jira user numbers, making this a good option for many teams, as you can buy these tools just for your QA team, and don't need to pay for all Jira users.

E.g. feel free to try our test management tool Testmo, as we have deep Jira integration, but there are obvious many other tools out there.
