Hi,
we got a request from inside our company:
Is there any chance to make the whole email (TO: and CC: Field) visible in JIRA comment if its processed by JEMH. Right now, its just the body which is pasted in the comment.
I cant find any option in profile window.
Thanks!
Hi Tim,
There is a (slightly dated, on the list) how to: https://thepluginpeople.atlassian.net/wiki/display/JEMH/Customize+the+Comment+Header
This shows how any email delivered content can be prefixed with the default 'Basic' header or, if you create a Comment Header TemplateSet, you can fully customize it, the 'Detailed' version includes all TO and CC recipients. The 'full' email doesnt necessarily make sense, email content can be encoded, eg base64 (you cant read it), it could be quoted printable (you cant read it easily), it could be HTML (if m$ generated it, you really can't read it), so, some 'extract' is required.
JEMH has options to 'attach' the original content (eg HTML) before JEMH processes it down to text / wiki markup. If you want the 'actual' email, you can attach that too.
Id hope these options were sufficient to meet your needs, but if not, please expand on your needs.
