Sync Historical JIRA Issues to Salesforce

Shaun Bailey July 11, 2017

Hi,

We are using the Cloud connector to sync issues with Salesforce and for all new issues, this process works great.  Any issues added to SF are automatically created in JIRA and vice versa.  However, we have a bunch of issues that are not in SF that came pre-integration that we need to sync.  Other than going into each issue and creating a SF record from there, is there a systematic way to create SF issues from any existing issues that don't already have a SF issue attached?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Shaun

@Shaun Bailey - you could use a service like Tray.io to batch process your SF-less Jira issues. If you can capture that list in JQL, pass it to Tray, then have it create a Salesforce record for each Jira issue it encounters.
