Within one of my test executions I have a dozen or so tests. During execution, a comment is added to the instance of execution.
I want to be able to show the comments as a column on the main Test Execution screen and I added "Comment" from the select column dropdown.
However, it's not showing any of the comments saved against any of the instances of test execution.
Can someone confirm exactly what column I need to add to see the test execution comment?
e.g.
My test is ID-123 and my test execution is ID-456. ID-123 is part of execution ID-456
When I execute ID-123 from within ID-456 I can click the triangle arrow, hit execute and it brings up the execution screen. I add a comment on this page.
When I open ID-456 I can see all tests within that execution, in this case ID-123. I add "Comment" from the Columns dropdown and the column appears but it is completely empty.
Please note I don't want to add comments from the ID-123 JIRA item, I want to add the comment saved down under the specific instance of execution as part of ID-456
Never mind, I found the answer - it's TestRun Comment.
I couldn't find this on any confluence guide or other question so hopefully this will be useful to people.
Do you need to have Admin authority to see the TestRun Comment fields. They don't show up as an option for Dashboard widgets
