Show subtasks in boards from saved filter

I  created a Kanban board of stories with a specific label as 'CV19'. However when I try to break a story into small subtasks, I cannot view these unless label them as 'CV19' as well. Any idea to eliminate this step?

Can you give us more information - what type of Project is it? Next-gen? Classic Software?

What type of board is it? What does the filter for the board look like?

Thanks for replying. It is a classic software project. The board is from an existing Saved Filter, as I query work item with a specific label from several projects.

This is my query: The idea is to get work items from 1 specific project and from 2 other with the label 'CV19':

project = OE OR project in (COM, CMS) AND labels in (cv19) ORDER BY Rank ASC
