Is there a way to search/filter for all items in the table? Not just the first 20 that are being viewed in the table? For example, the table is currently showing 20 out of 2000 issues, so when I run the search it seems to be only be searching within those 20 items, not within the 2000 items.
so it will show all 1000 issues correct? That's a lot of issues to load. Also, if I have more than a 1000 issues it would only search that first 1000 right?

Yes, it can display up to 1000, you can add sorting rules in JQL as needed.

are there any other options? if there is more than a 1000 issues the search/filter will basically be ineffective.
