Hello,
is there any way to set up something similiar as was possible with Scroll Versions on Data center and Server?
We use confluence as a knowedge base and download center for our customers and would like to make it possible to have a drop down menu where they can choose a specific version and then only see pages that relate to this.
Example: Customer opens confluence, there is a dropdown menu in the page tree(if possible) or on the page and the customer choose version 4.6 and sees only relevant pages related to this version - and can then again change in the dropdown menu to a different version to see those pages instead.
Hi Kristine,
Sorry for the delay in response! I’m Johanna from K15t – we’re the Atlassian partners behind Scroll Versions. With your use case, it seems like Scroll Documents and Scroll Viewport could be a good fit.
With Scroll Documents, you could apply versioning to your knowledge base. When combined with Scroll Viewport you could create a help center and add a version picker enabling users to switch between versions. Here is a prototype of how a help center based on Scroll Documents and Scroll Viewport could look like: https://goodsoftware.scrollhelp.site/AHC/v1/ – you’ll see on the top right-hand side your users would have a version picker available.
I’m happy to share more about what’s possible with Scroll and about some of our migration paths in case your team would be migrating from Scroll Versions over into cloud. Just reach out via: https://www.k15t.com/solutions/scroll. We’d be happy to support!
Cheers,
Johanna.
