I'm using a scriptrunner post-function to create a sub-task on a transition and sets the assignee of the sub-task based on a value in a custom field on the parent task.
I assumed that when the sub-task was created from this post-function, an email would be sent to the assignee. However, that is not happening. How should I go about sending an email to the assignee after a sub-task is created from this post-function?
