Hello Team,
We actually want to configure single-sign-on for Atlassian tools like Jira / Confluence and Bitbucket but we do not want to use crowd.
Jira / Confluence / Bitbucket already integrated with windows id active directory but when we try login it is asking password so our requirement is whenever we login into my windows machine we should automatically login into jira / Bitbucket / Confluence.
I installed this app as of now in jira software during configuration it has 3 option.
1.SAML
2.Windows Authentication (Kerberos)
3.Cloud user provisioning
For my requirement option - 2 will be the correct option i feel. Please confirm.
Request you to check if this plugin helps to achieve my requirement.
Thanks.
Hi @Jagadeeswar Reddy
Option two (Windows Authentication with Kerberos) should be the preferred option for you. As you already have AD in place, you should be able to use our add-on here to utilize the windows sessions and automatically authenticate users to bitbucket.
The most common cause to why browser still ask for a username and password is the the local intranet settings on the client is wrong.
We are happy to setup a screensharing support meeting with you to get the solution up running in your environment.
Cheers,
Jon Espen
