Resizing an attachment

Hi!

I want to use one of the attachments (images) as a cover image for an issue and display it everywhere, even on Jira boards. It is very important for our art team.

The problem is that attachments are sometimes very large and having many of them on the same board can be problematic. Html page size can raise over 100MB.

So, is there any way to resize an attachment and save it as another attachment and use it for this case.

There's no image functions built into Jira, you'll have to either download, resize and upload the new image, or get one of the apps that can edit pictures inline.
