Regarding JSU & JMWE

Hi Team,

At present my client is using Power Utilities for Jira Plugin. Now they want to drop off that and move to either JSU or JMWE. The issue is that this Power Utilities of Jira is supporting three major functions: 1.JQL Validator 2.Assign from Field postfunction and 3.Regex Validator.

Does this functions are also available in any one of the plugin(JSU/JMWE). I have workaround on this but did not find with the exact solution. So please help me out in this.

Hi @Nikhila Pikkili 

I can't speak for JSU, but you can achieve all this using JMWE:

1. With a scripted validator and one line of Groovy script, unless you're on the cloud, where JQL simply cannot be used in validators, whatever the app
2. With a copy value from field to field post function
3. With a scripted validator and one line of Groovy script
