Project Configurator from Jira 7.3.1 and 7.2.2

Does anyone know if there would be any issues migrating projects and workflows using the Project Configurator addon from Jira version 7.3.1 to 7.2.2 assuming they have the same plugins. I want to delay upgrading from 7.2.2 to a 7.3.x or maybe later unless there is a good reason to upgrade priro to migrating projects.

Actually I treid this is a test environment and Project Configurator generates an error on import stating the versions are not compatible. So the answer seems to be that I need to upgrade to migrate.
