When opening TEMPO timesheets within JIRA I get an error message "something went wrong". We can´t log our work-hours. Any ideas?

Hi @Hakon Omarsson

Can you please go to Jira Settings > System > Global Permissions and make sure that the “atlassian-addons-admin” group has the "Browse users and groups" Permission.

In case adding this permission does not resolve the problem, can you please create a ticket in our Tempo support system (https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/6) so we can better investigate this.

Thanks, @Susanne Götz _Tempo_, for that information.

After granting "Browse users and groups" Permission to “atlassian-addons-admin” group my Timesheets are working again.

We had the same issue and adding "Browse users and groups" permission to "atlassian-addons-admin" group helped. Was there any change in Tempo requiring this permission as it was working yesterday without issues?

Hi @Gordon Seipold and @Jan Matik ,

In this case, the problem was caused by changes made by Atlassian. By default, the "atlassian-addons-admins" group has the Browse users and groups permission, so when installing Tempo or other JIRA add-on, users do not need to set this.

Due to the change made, the atlassian-addons-admin group was removed from the Browse users and groups permission. This change has been rolled back, but the permission needs to be added again manually.

When this group is not set for this permission, Tempo and other JIRA add-ons can not check user permissions in the system which causes problems in the add-on functionalities.

Regards,
Susanne

Hi Right now I have the same problem, I did the changes: Jira Settings > System > Global Permissions and make sure that the “atlassian-addons-admin” group has the "Browse users and groups" Permission. But it does not work.

Can you please help?

I'm not able to access my timesheet at all, nor cost tracker and I setup all our permissions prior to purchase....what is going on?

Hello @Susanne Götz _Tempo_ I've submitted a ticket TCS-33205: https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/6/TCS-33205?created=true any help would be greatly appreciated.

We finalized our purchase a week or so ago and I cannot continue our build which has a tight timeline for me.
