Print page with PocketQuery graphs

lcc September 14, 2015

If I print a page containing a PocketQuery generated graph, the graphs will print. But if I try to export the page as a PDF file, the graphs do not show up. The Google chart api does have a getImageURI() function that will return the chart as a PNG. Is there a way to call this function via a PocketQuery template? And would it show up in the PDF?

Hi!

Thank you for your interested in PocketQuery.

Unfortunately it is not possible to export the graph as a PDF file, since the PDF will be created on the server before the graph will be rendered in the browser. Still, you can use PocketQuery inside the ‚Chart’ Macro with the default template. The output of the ‚Chart‘ Macro should be visible in the PDF.

Best regards,

Natascha
