Power BI connector for Jira - issue connecting to OData feed

Cass Clark October 28, 2020

has anyone got an error on the OData feed screen, under the 'Basic' tab, where it asks for your User name and password?

I'm getting the following error:

We couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided. Please try again.

The sections I'm referring to is shown in this demo video at 2:34mins:

Hello @Baqir Ali ,

The Jira user email and Jira API token should be used.

Please find more details in our documentation guide: https://aserve.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PBCFJC/pages/2346352641/How+to+connect+in+Microsoft+Power+BI+using+Jira+API+Token

Please let me know if this helps. Thank you!

Hi @Liubov Topchyi ,

in the user field do I have to enter the Jira account email or the powerBI account email?

Thank for your time.

Hello Maximiliano @Maximiliano Javier Julio ,

You need to use your Jira user details. Depending on the hosting option of your Jira, it could be a Jira user email or Jira username.

For your convenience, here are the guides on how to connect:
