Not displaying assignee name on slack automation

I am currently using Automation for Jira to auto-assign incoming tickets and post a message on slack channel.

The auto-assigning is working fine. However, assignee name is being omitted on the slack message.

How do I go about resolving it?

@Saurabh_Lakshman not sure if you found the answer to this yet, but I recently had the same issue and checked with Jira on the issue.

There is an action called Re-fetch issue data that is intended for this.

So your actions should look like this:

1. Assign issue to

2. Re-fetch issue data

3. Send Slack message
