Hi,
I would like to ask if someone has experience migrating from Server to Data Center (clustered) and how much time it is needed?
We have Jira Software (around 80 users and aroung 5000 issues), Confluence (148 users and 8 spaces) and Bitbucket (around 200 repositories). How long do we need to make the migration?
Thanks.
Hi @Patricia González ,
migrating from Jira Server to Data Center takes about30 seconds, as all you need to do is update the license key. No reinstallation is needed. It creates a cluster of one server.
After that, if you want to add nodes to your cluster, the time needed is not proportionate to the size of your Jira instance, you just install the new node and add it to the cluster.
You will still need to make sure certain folders are shared on the network, but that, again, is not size-dependent.
Regards,
David
