Yes, modern Santa also uses Jira. He wants to be trendy and make his business efficient, of course.
Every year when the merry season starts, Santa has a lot on his plate. It’s impossible to keep everything in your head, and to write each assignment on paper is outdated. Luckily his awesome elf team found out how to handle everything with Jira. Every Santa helper knows what to do and when thanks to the created tickets.
One day Santa looked for his most important tasks with gift lists and couldn’t find them. He asked his team, but no one knew what had happened. They were almost desperate when one of the tech elves reminded them they had an Issue History for Jira app installed. And he turned on the Keep Deleted Issues feature foreseeably some time ago. It’s time to check how it works.
As a result, they’ve managed to find the deleted tickets and find out who deleted them.
It turned out that the day before, Grinch had played his tricks. He was in Santa's team, too, from his last promise to be good. But Grinch's nature is very changeable. You never know what’s on his mind.
The team decided to restrict access to deleted issues for Grinch as a punishment.
Luckily, no ticket was lost in this story. Santa got his gift lists back safely, and everyone would receive their Christmas presents in time.
If you want to save your data from being lost, try storing deleted tickets with Issue History for Jira: 30-day free trial.
* Coming soon: We’re preparing new functionality, so you will be able not only keep deleted issue but restore them back to the project.
Happy Holidays to everyone from the SaaSJet team!
