Jira automation integration with Bamboo

It would be very useful to get tighter native integration between Jira Automation and Bamboo. Currently in order to trigger Bamboo jobs from Jira it is necessary to set up a "Send web request" trigger. The issue here is that this requires anonymous access to be enabled on Bamboo, which many companies will not allow. It would be very helpful to be able to pass through Jira authentication credentials, or register a Bamboo authentication key against the Jira profile and have that passed through.

I can see many great uses for Jira Automation integrating with Bamboo but I am unable to use it under the current implementation.
