Jira Scriptrunner-Script to add a custom label when a option is chosen from a single select dropdown

Hi,

Can someone please assist with the groovy script?

I need to be able to add a custom label(say 'testing') to a JIRA issue(upon creation/when edited later) when a 'selection A' is chosen from a single select dropdown. If the user at somepoint, chooses 'Selection B' - that label 'testing' should be removed off from the jira issue.

Thanks,

VR

Hey @VR, I can easily picture it by having a custom script as a post-function and behaviour to manage the updates when editing your issue. Perhaps, sharing what you have so far will make it easier for others to chime in and help you out with your script. In the meantime, you can get some insights on the examples you can find at https://library.adaptavist.com.
