We have a customer list field on our Jira tickets. We'd like for the customer list field pick-list options to consist of the up-to-date list of accounts/customers from our Salesforce instance. Ideally, any time a new customer is added to Salesforce, it would also be reflected in the Jira customer list. Can anyone recommend solutions to accomplish this?
Hi Sylvia,
I'd like to introduce another alternative to the outstanding options already provided by other vendors.
Our app, External Data for Jira Fields, features a specialized Salesforce data source. This allows you to either synchronize your customer list to a native field or establish a real-time search to select the customer directly within your tickets.
As a starting point, I'd recommend trying out the Field Options Sync - a straightforward, user-friendly feature you might find helpful. Please don't hesitate to contact our support team if you need any assistance.
Best Regards, Thomas
(Please note: I work with the vendor of this app.)
Hello @Sylvia Royall ,
Welcome to Community!
If you are open to use an application from Atlassian's Marketplace, our application, Elements Connect for Jira Cloud, offers now the possibility to fetch updated data from Salesforce and display it in issues.
I'm the product manager of Elements Connect and I'd be happy to assist if you need any help. In the meantime, you can watch this demo to see if it can fit your need (the Contract field can come from Salesforce).
Kind regards,
Elyes from Elements

@Sylvia Royall hey there. I'd like to suggest another solution - ZigiOps. 100% no-code, easy to use, fast, offers unlimited workflows/ syncs and users and can be customized to fit various use cases. Feel free to check it out and drop us a line if you want to test the zigiops connector capabilities.
Regards, Diana (ZigiOps team)

I encourage you to check out Appfire's Connector for Salesforce & Jira.
It's an awesome app that offers bi-directional auto synchronization of customer data between the two platforms.
I'm the Product Marketing Manager for Connector for Salesforce & Jira and would be happy to put you in touch with our Support team if you have any questions or would like a demo.
Best regards,
Jennifer at Appfire

@jennifer.dempsey_Appfire we have this integration/add-on and I have some outstanding questions about this, could you please put me in touch someone who is an expert in this add-on (SME) who can help us configure it more broadly

Welcome to the community. This is Majid @ Exalate.
Not sure if you have managed to solve this one, but it seems that you will be needing an integration solution in order to get this use case going. With Exalate, you can not only get this customer list populated, but also do a lot of value addition by syncing the two systems together.
Hope it helps.
Thanks
Majid
