In the "classic" Outlook, the Jira Cloud Add-in was part of the ribbon and I was able to send E-Mails to issues or create and edit issues from within outlook.
I am missing this options now after switching to the "new outlook". The Add-In is still in the list of installed Add-ins and some of the functions are still working, e.g. the in-place edit of an issue and adding comments in the email.
The versions I am using are:
Outlook-Version 1.2024.124.100
Clientversion 20240119003.15
Jira Cloud is missing in the ribbon in new outlook:
Add-in still marked as "Installed":
Adding comments to issues from within an email still works:
How to bring back the Jira cloud to the ribbon in the "new outlook" to enable it again?
For me, the three Jira options became hidden. I used to be able to pull up the options directly from the 3-dot menu.
But as you can see, they are missing. I had to customize actions in that menu and add back the Jira Cloud option. Now the 3-option menu appears on it's own.

We are getting the following error on Mac Sonoma using Safari browser when we choose the 3-option menu. Unchecked "Blocked all cookies" and "Cross-site reference" in browser didn't fix the issue. Please advise.

@Derek Gillespie @dwayne.anderson For me, the three Jira options also became hidden and I am having difficulties adding them again via customizing actions. Would you mind sharing with me how you added them again?

I am not finding an option to add them back in either, did anyone else find them?

It appears this type of plugin method is no longer supported in the new local Outlook App.
I received this message below while sending feedback int Outlook App
"Add-In support for the new Outlook for Windows
Outlook COM add-ins are not supported in the new Outlook for Windows;
however, web add-ins are supported. Web add-ins can be installed by
navigating 'More apps > Add apps' from the left navigation bar.
Please click the link to learn more."
